The Department of Engineering Sciences was established in 2004, has young and vibrant faculty members from different field of expertise mainly related to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Basic Electrical Engineering, Basic Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology. There are thirty two well qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic teaching faculties. List includes one Professor who has completed PhD and two Associate Professor who are pursuing their PhD in their respective domain and remaining Assistant Professor out of which one have completed Ph D. All teaching faculties have completed their master degree.
The department has nine well equipped laboratories which enable faculty and students to apply fundamental knowledge to create innovative new technologies and eight ICT based each classroom facilitate with WIFI Access point to access Internet during Moodle based MCQ practice session at the end of each lecture. The total intake capacity of the department is 540 students scatter into different branch of engineering. All the subjects of First year engineering are taught by our well-educated and dedicated faculty members. In addition to this the subjects like Engineering Mathematics and Mathematical Method for second year engineering and Master of Engineering respectively also taught by us.
Department of Engineering Sciences has discipline committee actively involved to maintain discipline among students in department and also runs an exclusive Guardian Faculty Member (GFM) Scheme. Each faculty is taking care of a group of 15 to 20 students. Our team of FE staff is continuously involved in student centered activities. Daily each GFM interact telephonically with the parents of students those who are absent on the day or even for a single lecture. They also interact directly with the parents of respective student once in a week and share the progress of the students. Personal care of students is being taken by faculty members so that they feel homely environment.
Apart from these we also have “Remedial Scheme” which help academically weaker student to clear their doubts and understand the concept. These remedial lectures are taken after college ours and assessment are done to record student’s improvement. Including all these our department also motivates students to participate in Co-curricular and extracurricular activities in various events which are organized in and outside the campus to boost up their hidden talents.
Vision "To satisfy the aspirations of youth force, who wants to lead nation towards prosperity through techno-economic development."
To provide, nurture and maintain an environment of high academic excellence, research and entrepreneurship for all aspiring students, which will prepare them to face global challenges maintaining high ethical and moral standards.
