JSCOE ISHRAE Student Chapter
JSCOE ISHRAE Students Chapter was formed in 2007. This chapter work for students & Faculty advisor (Prof. Aditya Bawane) role is to guide the students. Student in TE or BE can get the ISHRAE Student membership by paying only Rs. 550/- (for registration visit http://ishraehq.in/home/student ). The different activities conducted under the ISHRAE chapter are guest lectures from industry expert, industrial visit, quiz competitions, job junction (Placement for BE students), project grant for UG & PG students, Techno CHILL (It is one day technical event, in which various competitions are conducted like as quiz competition, paper presentation, project idea competitions), National and International conferences etc.
Objectives
- To provide platform to the students to enhance their technical knowledge & skill in the area of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R).
- To give opportunities to students interact with outside world, industrial visits, guest lectures, and exhibitions in the HVAC&R domain.
- To provide financial assistance for project related with HVAC&R.

ASHRAE was formed as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers by the merger in 1959 of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) founded in 1894 and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) founded in 1904. With more than 57,000 members from over 132 nations, ASHRAE is a diverse organization representing building system design and industrial processes professionals around the world.
