E-learning platform
Department provides e-learning platform like Moodle. Moodle is a Course management system (CMS). Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. Students can access digital content of the courses i.e. Notes, Assignments, ppt and previous years question papers and their solutions from Institutes cloud server 24 X 7 as per their convenience. Students are encouraged for doing NPTEL online courses and use of National Digital Library for enhancing their knowledge.
III (Industry Institute Interaction)
In order to increase the interaction with industries every year department organizes Industrial Visit to different organizations. Department interacts with industry to ascertain its needs to fill the gap in the curriculum.
We have visited following industries:
- Infosys
- Logical DNA
- Science & Technology Park, Pune
- GMRT, Narayangao
- Barclays
- Amrutam Aqua Pvt Ltd, Bhor
GFM Services (Guardian Faculty Member)
Identifying weak areas and working out remedies helping students thereby taking their complete care.Department has guardian faculty member (GFM) activity. This helps in monitoring the student’s academic performance.
The objectives of the GFM scheme are:
- To provide academic counseling
- To communicate with the student’s parents
- Establishing rapport between teachers, student & parents.
- Monitoring attendance and behavioral aspects of every student.
Student Communication System
I) Whatsapp group: In order to share academic information and important notices we have created year wise Whatsapp Group for Students.
II) Google Groups: We have formed various Google groups for MCA I, II and III year students to convey academic information to the students. Faculty can upload important notices, Circulars and Exam time tables.
