Director of Technical Education, Regional Office, Pune on the occasion of 75th year of Independence, Higher and Technical Education Department and Faculty of Science and Technology of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided to celebrate the event by organizing Project Exhibition cum Competition of projects prepared by students of colleges “Regional Level Project Competition” sponsored by IEEE communication Society and Signal Processing Society on 2nd May, 2022. Project Competition is a tool to solve real life problems faced by society. It will be an opportunity for students to interact with Industry Persons, Academicians and fellow students to showcase their talents. This project competition is open for all UG and PG students of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, MBA and MCA colleges in Pune region of the Director of Technical Education.
Total 111 teams were presented their working model project.

First Prize: Rs. 50,000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 30,000/-
Third Prize: Rs. 20,000/-
Now in its 6th edition, KPIT Sparkle brings industry and academia together to shape the innovations of the future. Faculty
and students of undergraduate, post-graduate and PhD courses, from the Science, Engineering, Design and Management
streams, of colleges and universities across India, find a platform at KPIT Sparkle. This year’s competition theme is
Mobility & Energy for the Future.
From mechanical department total 18 teams participated in the event, out of which 6 teams are shortlisted for Top 100 in all over INDIA named “Energy Efficient Auto AC”, “ Finite to Infinite”, “Team Tribo”, “Team Drive Train”, “Suryansh”, “SOWI” for final round to be planned in Feb./Mar2020.
There were total 20000 ideas submissions with 120000 students from 2235 institutes in the 1st round, out of which 250
ideas (250 Teams) got selected into the Grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon-Hardware Edition 2019 under various

Engineering Services India, engages, final/pre-final year B.E/B.Tech/Dual Degree students across India. Innovative
Engineering projects from across the country are screened through, to find the country’s Best 200 engineering project and
provide the team members with placement opportunity at QuEST Global.
Our team “ Finite to Infinite” also name as “High Performance Electric Vehicle” based on 2-wheeler electric Bike Project , selected in Top 10 teams among 1905 teams all over India, only team in Maharashtra competing in QuEST Ingenium –2019
