This lab is used to implement various practical's such as Software Laboratory-V (Distributed Systems) , Software Laboratory-VI (Data Science & Big Data Analytics) also used for Project Competition.

1) Some remarkable projects are 'Smart Water Management System', 'Smart Wheel Chair' ,'Intelligent Blind Sticks' where are based on IOT Technology. 2D Brain tumor Analysis, SIFT Implementation using Map Reduce here developed using Hadoop and many more.
2) Student grabs 6th Rank in Hackathon competition held at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu for "Smart Water Management using IOT" project.
3) "Intelligent Blind Stick" project also awarded by Sakal youth competition.

Description : A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a wireless network consisting of spatially distributed autonomous devices using sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions. A WSN system incorporates a gateway that provides wireless connectivity back to the world and distributed nodes. In this we implemented disaster preparedness and prevention by utilizing low cost WSNs to monitor the region and designing free Android application to instantly notify users, an occurrence of a disaster, Landslides cause property damage, injury and death and adversely affect a variety of resources.
