The Turbo Machines lab practical session is conducted for power developing and power absorbing machines. Students study the impulse moment principle using impact of jet apparatus. Power developed and efficiency is calculated for water turbines ( Pelton, Francis and Kaplan). The basic concepts of Fluid mechanics is used to study the performance in Centrifugal and Reciprocating pump.
