Originative means having ability to originate –Creative. Facile is a Latin word generated from word facile means easy. So, OFA is a creative approach which can be implemented easily.

1.A class of 60 students is divided into 3 batches each of 20 students.
2. Each batch is assigned 6 hrs for a particular course once in a week. This is implemented only for course with practical.
3. Opportunity for self-learning through digital mode is provided.

S1: Start- teacher tells objectives (CO, TLO, and ELO) for today’s session.
S2: Sign on- students engage in his or her own learning.
S3: Seek It- students are in knowledge gain mode using all ICT based learning material
S4: Spilt Out- Design and develop programs on learned concepts.
S5: Stretch It- Elaborate Knowledge by applying it to real world problems.
S6: Size Up - Face the competition by solving MCQs, giving presentation and much more .
Electronics and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering has adopted pedagogical strategies for the students’ empowerment. Teacher establishes social and intellectualenvironment in the department through various teaching-learning interactive activities.Another aspect is thought of the empowering student to become active citizens who are able to improve their own lives and their communities.
We are focusing on total five domains; Signal processing, Communication systems, VLSI and embedded systems, PLC and automation and Programming skills.
The comprehensive continuous-time and discrete-time methods of signals and systems develops applications in such areas as filtering, communication, sampling, discrete-time processing of continuous-time signals, and feedback.
VLSI design and embedded systems group is to address research, development and advance solutions in VLSI circuits for computing applications.
PLC and Automation plays an extra-ordinary/revolutionary role in today’s manufacturing industry as well as educational processes.
Hence to work with the applications of these domains,Teachers have recommended virtual labs, mini-projects, digital library, online certification courses, market survey for overall knowledge development of students.
We have adopted ICT based teaching learning platform andmoodlefor e-learning.
“Lab to Land” is one of the best practices in our department to explore students’ technical expertise, teamwork, communication skills, management, leadership qualities, ethical and social responsibilities.
Department has projected “Lab as Museum” (A showcase of history-development-future of Electronics) concept to make interaction between college and techno-interested community.
E&TC training and placement cell facilitates the students with soft skills training programs, aptitude skill development and placement training to achieve their dream career and job
Students are promoted to participate in various workshops, seminars, industrial visits, project competitions, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It recognizes that an educational practice groomsstudents’ multi-dimensional growth.
On the basis of academic calendar issued by SPPU, institute and department formulates its calendar. The calendar includes scheduling of teaching duration, curricular and extracurricular activities and evaluation. Teaching schedule is meticulously planned and organized by the institution. Teaching load distribution is done well in advance based on the faculty specialization, work experience, preference and student feedback. Faculty development program are organized prior to commencement of semester, where in details about curriculum planning, development of teaching learning material, evaluation methods and schedule are discussed and finalized.
During lecture faculty organize lesson’s learning objectives in a logic and linear fashion and determine the best way to present the material. Besides just pondering on the best way to present the material, faculty draft several engineering problems related to that day’s lesson. At the beginning of class, faculty usually starts by conceptually explaining the concepts behind the lesson objectives and discussing their importance and application. Faculty explained how to solve a particular problem, often work the first problem on the board for the entire class, and then ask them to attempt the next problem in their notebook. Faculty walk around the classroom and observe their work. During this time, collect feedback from the students by observing those who seem to completely understand the material and others who seem to be struggling with particular concepts.
